AXCR cross roller bearings consist of an inner and outer ring, cylindrical rollers and spacers. Due to their compact design, these bearings are frequently used as swivel bearings. Typical applications include milling heads, swivel axes or robots, as well as industrial applications requiring high accuracy.
In cross roller bearings, the cylindrical rollers are arranged perpendicular in offset raceways at 90°, enabling loads and torques to be absorbed evenly in all directions.
Cross roller bearings offer relatively high axial and radial rigidities and tilting rigidity in highly compact constructions.

Product Series
| Series | Design Features | Ring Structure | Application |
|---|---|---|---|
| AXCR-U | One-piece ring design with radial filling plug | One-piece rings, can be bolt-fastened | Standard applications, available from standard program |
| AXCR-S | Equal height one-piece ring design | One-piece rings, equal height construction | Applications requiring equal height mounting |
| AXCR-M | Customized design | Customized to customer requirements | Special dimensions, fastening options or gearing |
Design Types
Cross roller bearings are available in multiple bearing types and designs. Basically, we distinguish between the following:
- One-piece ring + radial filling plug - for filling rollers and spacers
- Two-part design - non-rotating ring is two-part, rotating ring is one-piece
- Bolt-on rings / non-bolt-on rings
- Customized bearings - customer-specified ring dimensions, fastening options or gearing
