AXCR cross roller bearings consist of an inner ring, an outer ring, cylindrical rollers and spacers. Owing to their compact design, these bearings are frequently used as swivel bearings. Typical applications include milling heads, swivel axes or robots, as well as industrial applications demanding high accuracy.
In cross roller bearings, the cylindrical rollers are arranged at 90° to one another in the raceway, so that loads and torques can be absorbed evenly in all directions.
Cross roller bearings provide relatively high axial, radial and tilting rigidity within a highly compact construction.

Design Types
Cross roller bearings are available in a number of bearing types and designs. In principle, we distinguish between the following:
- Single-part ring + radial filling plug - for filling with rollers and spacers
- Two-part design - non-rotating ring is two-part, rotating ring is single-part
- Bolt-on rings / non-bolt-on rings
- Customized bearings - customer-specified ring dimensions, fastening methods or gearing

The constant construction height of the AXCR-S is its core design feature; SSA and SSS denote different countersink orientations, and the height remains fixed regardless of size.
