The needle guideways of type N/O and M/V can be fitted with a cage control system which ensures that process security is significantly increased. The causes and effects of slide creep are described in section 7.8.
This type of cage control fully meets requirements in terms of productivity and cost-effectiveness. It is very robust, simple in construction, and consists of only a few components:
