6.4 Vacuum
In vacuum environments, corrosion-resistant guideways are preferred. It is also necessary to avoid outgassing from plastics, ensure ventilation of mounting holes, and use appropriate lubricants.
Upon request, SCHNEEBERGER can provide guideways packaged in a cleanroom and lubricated according to requirements.
