11.2 Height-matched Carriages (HA)
In accuracy class G1, the maximum height deviation of the carriage is ±10 µm. For certain configurations, this tolerance may be too large, for example when the distance between individual carriages is too small, i.e., when the carriage spacing Lb is less than the carriage length L. In such cases, the tolerance can be reduced according to specific customer requirements.
Carriage spacing definition: L = Carriage length (longer carriage), Lb = Carriage spacing
When carriage spacing is less than carriage length, height-matched carriages are recommended to ensure MINISCALE PLUS system accuracy.
