The running and positioning accuracy of the application is directly dependent upon the geometric precision of the guideways, careful alignment, and the precision and rigidity of the surrounding structures.
Depending on the application, different levels of precision are required. SCHNEEBERGER linear guideways are available in three quality classes to meet various application requirements:
- NQ* - Normal Quality
Represents normal requirements in mechanical engineering - SQ - Special Quality
For very demanding requirements - SSQ - Super Special Quality
For the most demanding requirements

Technical Limitations
Regarding quality classes SQ and SSQ, the following technical limitations apply:
- Maximum length is determined according to the "Dimensions and Load Capacities" table for each product.
- Coating-related limitations (see chapters 7.6 and 7.7).
