(1) Temperature range: Depending on load conditions, use of PEEK material for improved ball recirculation (customized) allows operation up to +150 °C (+302 °F). Standard lubricant temperature range is -20 °C to +100 °C. SCHNEEBERGER also accepts customized lubricant orders for other temperature ranges.
(2) Vacuum: When using in high vacuum environments, wipers must be removed from the carriage. MINIRAIL with PEEK material for improved ball recirculation can also operate in vacuum (up to 10-9 mbar) (customized). Special lubricants from SCHNEEBERGER are required for vacuum use. To ensure no air remains in blind holes, mounting screws must have vent holes.
