AXCR cross roller bearings consist of an inner and outer ring, cylindrical rollers and spacers. Due to their compact design, these bearings are frequently used as swivel bearings. Typical applications include milling heads, swivel axes or robots, as well as industrial applications requiring high accuracy.
In cross roller bearings, the cylindrical rollers are arranged perpendicular in offset raceways at 90°, enabling loads and torques to be absorbed evenly in all directions.
Cross roller bearings offer relatively high axial and radial rigidities and tilting rigidity in highly compact constructions.
Bearing Types
Cross roller bearings are available in multiple bearing types and designs. Basically, we distinguish between the following:
- One-piece ring + radial filling plug - for filling rollers and spacers
- Two-part non-rotating ring, one-piece rotating ring
- Bolt-on rings / non-bolt-on rings
- Customized bearings - customer-specified ring dimensions, fastening options or gearing
AXCR-U Design
AXCR-U is a design with one-piece rings. Both rings can be bolt-fastened and are part of the standard product line.
Key Features
- One-piece ring design
- Radial filling plug for rollers and spacers
- Both inner and outer rings can be bolt-fastened
- Standard product line available (see product tables)
Size Range
- Bore d: 80 - 540 mm
- OD D: 146 - 640 mm
- Height H: 35 - 80 mm
AXCR-S Design
AXCR-S is a design with equal height one-piece rings. Both rings can be bolt-fastened and are part of the standard product line.
Key Features
- One-piece ring design with equal height construction
- Both inner and outer rings can be bolt-fastened
- Suitable for applications requiring equal height mounting
- Standard product line available (see product tables)
Size Range
- Bore d: 130 - 360 mm
- OD D: 190 - 430 mm
- Height H: 26 - 40 mm
AXCR-M Customized Design
AXCR-M is a customer-specific design using one-piece rings. Rolling elements and spacers are filled through the radial filling plug. Ring designs can be equipped with countersunk holes, through holes, threaded holes, or no holes. All bearing characteristics are adjusted according to customer requirements.
Customization Options
- Customer-specified ring dimensions
- Special fastening options (countersunk holes, through holes, threaded holes, or no holes)
- Gearing design (internal or external teeth, if required)
- Special materials or surface treatments
