General Information

The accuracy of the fits and the geometrically correct design of all connecting parts have a direct effect on the running accuracy and the dynamic properties of the bearing and the table.

Please observe the construction notes in the general catalogue chapter.

The actual dimension of the bearing outer diameter can be found in the inspection report included with each bearing.

Outer Ring Stationary (NGX Series)

For the NGX series housing, design a clearance fit according to G7, or dispense with centering. The housing fit serves mainly for centering, while the bearing is secured by bolts.

Outer Ring Rotates (NGX-SBI Series)

For the NGX-SBI series housing, design according to the J6 specification in the table below. For special requirements, the fit must be further restricted within the specified tolerance grade:

  • High accuracy requirements: If maximum accuracy is required, aim for a clearance fit target value of 0. Otherwise, the clearance fit can add itself to the radial runout of the bearing.
  • High dynamic properties: At higher speeds and longer duty cycles, the interference fit must not exceed 0.005 mm.
