General Information

The accuracy of the fits and the geometrically correct design of all connecting parts have a direct effect on the running accuracy and the dynamic properties of the bearing and the table.

Please observe the construction notes in the general catalogue chapter.

The actual dimension of the bearing outer diameter can be found in the inspection report included with each bearing.

Important Note

Fit accuracy directly affects bearing running accuracy and dynamic performance. Please ensure the geometric accuracy of the housing meets the requirements.

Outer Ring Stationary (NGX Series)

For the NGX series housing, it should be designed with a clearance fit according to G7 or without centering.

NGX Housing Fit

When the outer ring is stationary, the housing uses a G7 clearance fit or no centering. The bearing is secured by bolts, and the housing fit is mainly used for centering rather than positioning.

Outer Ring Rotates (NGX-SBI Series)

For the NGX-SBI series housing, it should be designed according to the specifications in the table below.

For special requirements, the clearance fit must be further restricted within the specified tolerance grade:

High Accuracy Requirements

If maximum accuracy is required, a clearance fit of 0 should be aimed for. Otherwise, the clearance fit can add itself to the bearing radial runout.

High Dynamic Properties

At higher speeds and longer duty cycles, a press fit of 0.005 mm must not be exceeded.

Tolerance Description:
G7 = Housing tolerance for stationary outer ring (NGX series)
J6 = Housing tolerance for rotating outer ring (NGX-SBI series)
T1 = Roundness tolerance
T3 = Perpendicularity tolerance (housing end face relative to housing bore axis)
Rmax = Maximum chamfer radius
