AXRY-NGX bearings are double-direction, screw-on precision bearing units ready for installation, designed for highly rigid applications such as rotary tables or milling heads.
These bearings absorb axial and radial forces plus tilting moments without backlash.
AXRY-NGX bearings deliver optimum speed, rigidity and lifetime in the available space. The bearings are factory-greased per DIN 51825-KPH-C1N-30 as standard.
Alternative greases or grease-free bearings are available upon request.

Generation AXRY-NGX
Fig: AXRY-NGX cross section (inner ring rotation)
The myonic NGX generation bearings are the result of continuous optimization and further development from the AXRY-EX series, incorporating numerous improvements:
- Enhanced stiffness values
- Improved load-carrying capabilities
- Extended service life
- Axial and radial lubrication (via outer ring)
- Optional radial lubrication (via inner ring, -SBI variant)
- Assembly without axial washer integration (can be integrated directly into table)
- Restricted H1 and H2 tolerances standard up to size 460 rather than optional
Of course, all variants - restricted radial and axial runout, restricted height tolerances H1/H2 (for sizes 580 and 650), and custom bearing adjustment - are available for NGX bearings.
Generation AXRY-NGX-SBI
Fig: AXRY-NGX-SBI cross section (outer ring rotation)
The myonic NGX-SBI generation bearings have the same functionality as the NGX series but are dimensionally optimized for outer ring rotation. NGX-SBI improvements include:
- Enhanced stiffness values
- Improved load-carrying capabilities
- Extended service life
- Radial lubrication (via inner ring)
- Assembly without axial washer integration (can be integrated directly into table)
- Restricted H1 and H2 tolerances standard up to size 460 rather than optional
For the AXRY-NGX-SBI series, all variants - restricted radial and axial runout, restricted height tolerances H1/H2 (for sizes 580 and 650), and custom bearing adjustment - are available.
Bearing Structure
AXRY-NGX (NGX-SBI) bearings consist of three rings:
| Component | Description |
|---|---|
| Inner Ring | Inner ring bore manufactured to appropriate tolerance for fit |
| Outer Ring | Bearing body containing lubrication channels |
| Axial Washer | Unsupported at bore area, centered to inner ring and secured with fastening screws |
The axial washer is unsupported at the bore area, centered to the inner ring and secured with fastening screws.
Fastening Screws
Important Note
The fully assembled bearing is held together by fastening screws. The axial washer is aligned with the inner ring at the factory.
If the fastening screws must be removed, they should only be replaced after the bearing is fully bolted down.
If the fastening screws are removed beforehand, the axial washer must be realigned to prevent system imbalance.
Warning
- Only replace fastening screws after the bearing is fully bolted
- Premature removal of fastening screws will cause axial washer misalignment
- Misaligned axial washer will cause system imbalance
NGX vs NGX-SBI Comparison
| Feature | AXRY-NGX | AXRY-NGX-SBI |
|---|---|---|
| Rotation Type | Inner ring rotation | Outer ring rotation |
| Lubrication Method | Via outer ring (axial or radial) | Via inner ring (radial) |
| Typical Applications | Rotary tables, milling heads | Outer ring rotation special applications |
| Rigidity Optimization | Optimized for inner ring rotation | Optimized for outer ring rotation |
