AXDR Double Row Angular Contact Roller Bearings are double-row bolt-fastening precision bearing units designed for applications requiring high rigidity, such as milling heads, rotary tables, or swivel axes. The bearings can absorb axial and radial loads as well as tilting moments, making them one of the most popular bearing types.
AXDR bearings consist of two filled roller rows arranged in an O-arrangement. The preload angle is 45° to absorb forces and torques occurring in machine tools in a compact design.
AXDR bearings have higher performance capabilities than most axial/radial bearings on the market. Due to the high design rigidity, AXDR bearings are less sensitive to surrounding structures and can be installed more compactly.
Key Features
High Rigidity Design
Double-row O-arrangement rollers with 45° preload angle uniformly absorb loads and torques from all directions
Full Complement Design (VX)
Full-complement roller element sets achieve maximum rigidity with low friction torque
High Precision
Meets DIN 620 P5 tolerance standards, optional PRR50 restricted running accuracy
Pre-lubricated Delivery
Standard grease lubrication with re-lubrication holes for easy maintenance
Product Series
| Series | Design Features | Description | Typical Applications |
|---|---|---|---|
| AXDR-VX | Full Complement Design | Full roller element sets, maximum rigidity, pre-lubricated | Milling heads, rotary tables, high-rigidity machine tool applications |
Design Types
AXDR-VX is a full complement roller design with the following features:
- Full-complement roller element sets for maximum rigidity
- Optimized end clearance between cylindrical rollers for low friction torque
- Pre-lubricated delivery
- Re-lubrication hole design follows traditional standards
Bearing Structure
AXDR bearings consist of two rings: inner ring and outer ring. Rollers are introduced through radial filling plugs into the axial filling opening of the bearing and sealed with plugs. Unlike radial filling holes, the raceway is not interrupted, ensuring smooth bearing operation.

Application Frequency
AXDR double row angular contact roller bearings are frequently used in machine tools. Due to direct comparability with AXRY bearings, both bearing types are calculated under the same frame conditions and can be directly interchanged when the surrounding structure design complies with myonic catalog data.
