When there is only a small amount of contamination, wipers are sufficient to keep the track clean. Their braking effect can usually be disregarded. We offer various standard wipers, which are described in detail in the respective product specifications.
Covers are used when there is a risk of harmful contamination of the guideway. While wipers only push contamination away from the running surface in their motion area, covers provide the opportunity to deflect penetrating contamination from the side.
